Love you sis
My baby sister is 30 years old today! That means she’s been spreading her sunshine for a lot of days. On the regular. She is kind, sensitive, soft-spoken and full of creative genius. She has always been an old soul and now she’s “old” so now what!? What else can she harness from this incredible gift? (Yes, this is an Encanto reference!). She possesses intuition that leads her to make great life choices, follow her heart and spread kindness wherever she goes. She is a lightworker. Someone recently told me about this term and once I read more, I immediately thought “That’s Cassie! They are talking about my sister!” For those that do not know here’s what it means from happiness.com
The simplest way to describe lightworkers would be as beings who feel an enormous pull towards helping others. Also referred to as crystal babies, indigos, Earth angels and star seeds, these spiritual beings volunteer to act as a beacon for the Earth, and commit to serving humanity.
She does all of these things to serve humanity without deliberation. She is always using her talents to make this world a better place. Creating energy portraits, volunteering in the community, coaching kids’ soccer, and making cards for those in need to name a few. If you’re thinking ‘wow, she does a lot for people she hardly knows!’ You are right. But get this: she does all of that light work with her family too. She has always been in a communication heavy role probably because she has a keen sense of how to communicate when times are hard. She has professionally presented information as a Strokesmart writer, grief through Art facilitator, and a keiki soccer coach now in Maui. She can spread joy too like nobody’s business, like our mom. She is always down to pull a harmless prank or make someone spit out their drink with laughter. Her heart is beautiful. It’s wholesome. When you spend time with her, your soul is cleansed. Everything she brings to the table is pure of heart.
You could say this ‘little’ sister of mine has made a big impact on my life and I’m beyond thankful to call her my friend, my little sis, and my soul sister.
Happy Birthday, Cassie. Keep shining that little light of yours. It’s not so little anymore.
Sisters are special!!! Profound words of affection, beautiful blog of love celebrating your sister Cassie.
